At Business Review Cards NZ (operated by Thrive Local NZ Ltd), we want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. Because our cards are custom-programmed specifically for each business, our refund policy reflects the bespoke nature of the product.
Please read this policy carefully before ordering. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. Custom-Programmed Products
Each NFC card is individually programmed with your specific Google review link and locked before shipping. Because the card is personalised to your business, it cannot be resold or reprogrammed for another customer once your order has been fulfilled.
For this reason, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on programmed cards unless the fault is ours.
2. Incorrect Information Provided by Customer
If you provide an incorrect Google Maps URL, incorrect business name, or any other incorrect details, and we program your card based on that information, we are not liable for the error. A new card will need to be ordered at the full purchase price. Please carefully check all information before submitting your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure that:
- The Google Maps URL you provide is the correct link to your business
- Your Google Business Profile is active and verified at the time of ordering
- All contact and delivery details are accurate
3. Failure to Provide Business Details
If you place an order but fail to provide your Google Maps URL or other required business details within a reasonable timeframe (we will attempt to contact you), we reserve the right to cancel your order. In this case, a refund will be issued less a $7.00 NZD administration fee to cover our processing costs.
4. Postage & Shipping — Non-Refundable
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, reshipping will be charged at the standard shipping rate.
5. Faulty or Damaged Cards
If your card arrives damaged, defective, or programmed incorrectly due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at support@businessreviewcards.co.nz. We will arrange a replacement card or full refund at no cost to you.
Please include a photo of the fault and your order details when contacting us.
6. Change of Mind
Because our cards are custom-programmed for each business, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind once the card has been programmed.
If you contact us before programming has begun, we may be able to cancel your order and issue a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible at support@businessreviewcards.co.nz.
7. Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you are purchasing for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.
8. How to Request a Refund
- Email us at support@businessreviewcards.co.nz
- Include your order number and the reason for your request
- Attach any relevant photos if the issue is a physical defect
- We will respond within 2 business days
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
